Minor updates in April, 2010 to sledding stories. Finally received access back into this site. Most recent pics are in the 2005 index , if that works as I lost all my topcities hosted web pages. That is what I get for free.

Good day, Daryl here, although I am better known as 'Large'. There is no major theme behind this site other than a general representation of how I fill my time. Your not going to get a real fancy, graphical page out of me since I don't enjoy sitting on a computer till the early hours of the morning hours fine tuning something that I am not getting paid for.

I am currently employed by Ericsson as a network software designer within the Broadband Access OSS group. This is after spending nine years in Nortel, which was preceded by an eleven month stint with Innocor Ltd. in Almonte. Work is ... well, alright, I am holding in there... the layoff stage at Nortel might be over, but one never feels real secure in this industry after what the transpired the last ten years! At least the Nortel bankruptcy days are behind. My graduate thesis at Queen's University is long over with as are the days @ Laurentian, thank the lord! Bring on the good life!!!

Tamara and I have settled in Stittsville, just west of Ottawa (near the sled trails) and are quite content here. We were married on Aug. 26th, 2006. The day and honeymoon went very smoothly. Many thanks to all those who attended. The wedding website was here but I am too lazy to post all the pictures. Our daugher Avery is pushing two and now taking up a good chunk of time.

To my home town., just west of Sudbury, Ontario. All one "greater" city now.
The Town of Walden website is now dead with no city replacement. Some good going to one "Greater" city did!! What a load of BS this amalgamation is.
